I'll walk you through the process of managing that personal dictionary on your Android device. Finding the personal dictionary may be a challenge for some devices. Say you want to add a word without having to spell it out (or misspell it out, as it were) on the Android keyboard. You can manually add a word by tapping the plus sign [+], typing the word, and tapping Save. Conversely, you can remove words that were accidentally added to your personal dictionary by tapping the delete button (trash can), selecting the words to be selected ( Figure B), and then tapping Delete. If you want an easier means to locate your personal dictionary, you can install the app from the Google Play Store. You have to be careful with this on some devices. The HTC phones do not use the standard Android User Dictionary API, so it may not run correctly on an HTC device.
