Somehow the [remove] button in Windows Media Player 11 is disabled when you select an item from your list of installed visualizations, so there is no one-click way to remove visualizations in this version of the player. I've been working on a data visualization for my Plex server to help my users (an myself) discover new media on my server. I think its finally at a point that its worth sharing with others! Here are some screenshots so you can get an idea of what it looks like: There's a lot more I want to do with it like: • Adding a direct link to plex from the visualizer (I don't know if that's actually possible. Spent 0 time looking for it) • Having the ability to see what your footprint is on each bubble as opposed to just filtering • Lots of CSS cleanup. Lots of cleanup.
• More options to filter and maybe even more Visualizations • Make the UI more obvious. (what functions is the user preforming when they click something) • Ideally I'd love to see about integrating into PlexPy (or whatever we're calling it these days) Feel free to check it out here: Any and all feedback is welcome! Feel free to open up github issues for things you'd like.
Feel free to ask any questions. I've been told the UI is the most obvious. ** Data was randomly generated (into plexpy) to test the visualization but all the plexpy.db file is all that is needed to setup the visualization for yourself Edit: Not sure what the best flair is so I'm labeling it as a tip but if there's something better let me know! Edit 2: My machine was missing fonts so I updated the screenshots. Apologies if it 404d for you!
